Mommy Bloggers Philippines Gardenia Plant Tour

Posted on by

Do you want to find out why Gardenia’s bread is delicious, soft, nutritious, and smell good?

Recently, members of Mommy Bloggers Philippines and our kids had a fun and educational Gardenia Plant Tour  in Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP), Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna.

We were picked by a Gardenia service bus (Havana Bus c/o Manong Driver Sir Gilbert) from Mindanao Avenue.  The comfortable ride going to and from their plant added up to  our wonderful experience.

We were greeted by Gardy upon reaching the Gardenia Factory premises

When we get to the plant we were directed to their special audiovisual room to have some refreshment after which,  we were shown a video of the entire production process.  When the video was finished the marketing manager talked about how the finished breads are distributed throughout the country. They shared how important is sanitation to them. They even pointed out so many times that they have the most modern bread factory in the country that they’re proud to say that they are “baking bread untouched by human hands”.

After the talk we finally headed to tour the plant.  It was fun and educational seeing the entire production line from start to finish from a glass-enclosed viewing area high above the production floor.  It was awesome to know first hand that Gardenia has a state-of-the-art-plant that produces 650,000 loaves and buns everyday!

After the tour, our kids had a fun activity of making their own dessert using Gardenia breads.

The kids then happily gave their bread creation to their proud mommies!

When the kids’ activity was over, Gardenia surprised us with a beautiful sandwich buffet made of Gardenia products that features their own recipes.
