Mommy Painting At Color Me Mine – Paint-It-Yourself Ceramics Studio

Mommy Painting At Color Me Mine – Paint-It-Yourself Ceramics Studio

Everyone’s an artist… and that’s the reason why the owners of Color Me Mine – The Paint-It-Yourself Ceramics Studio set up this franchise inside Uptown Mall BGC so that everyone can tap the inner “artist” inside them.

The owners of Color Me Mine are three bubbly homemakers themselves, Vera Lim, Virna Ong and Elenar Ladrido. When we asked them if they are great artists themselves, they candidly admitted that they aren’t but they have true interest in art and they believe that a ceramic painting studio, like Color Me Mine, has a soft spot in anyone’s heart.

When Color Me Mine sent an invitation to Mommy Bloggers Philippines,  we asked the moms in the community who were interested to try clay painting and in a few seconds, the slots were filled up. Indee, there were many moms who want to try and were curious of how the ceramic painting goes.

There were 8 of us moms that day, each of us coming from different places in Manila, some were even from Laguna and Cavite, and though our group was quite small, the day easily became a memorable one, as we got to enjoy the moment of peace while we painted our chosen ceramics.

ColorMeMine works in 4 steps : Pick it, Paint it, They Fire It, You Take it – so you just basically paint your desired design (they have a catalog full of samples or you can just pick from the shelf), paint it ( you can Google if you want to find inspiration, or you can just let the artistic brain juices flow. After you paint, you will leave your finished product for glazing and after a week, you can pick it up or have the painted ceramic delivered to your home.

Workshops

Throughout the year, Color Me Mine features a variety of holiday and seasonal painting workshops including projects that help Moms create keepsakes from beloved little hand and footprints.

Team Building

Color Me Mine offers Team Building activities at your location. Program options include This Mug’s For You, going Green, Team Parties and Holiday Parties, and more.

Parties

Ceramic painting is fun and therapeutic and many parties opt to add Color Me Mine activities such as in Birthdays, Showers, Ladies Nights, Mom Groups such as the one we had, Anniversaries, Holidays, Office Events, Church Groups, School Events and more.

Cool Kids Classes

Color Me Mine also offers kids classes to encourage them to express their creative side while learning fun facts about a variety of topics. There are also summer workshops where kids create artworks inspired by animals, nature and other things using techniques taught by the staff.

Even if you think you don’t have talent in painting, don’t fret. Most of us moms were not that artistic but the staff were so kind to assist us and we just had fun telling them the colors we liked to use and painted away!

After our painting session, we headed to a nearby CBTL to have snacks and coffee. It was the perfect day to catch-up and the moms bought gifts for the children in CRIBS Foundation which we’ve collected. Special mention to First Tier/Brown Media PR agency for sponsoring this get together and giving us ample supply of Mentos for fresh breath and JBL wireless speakers to raffle out.
