Jobstreet by SEEK Partners with DepEd and PSAC to Strengthen Career Readiness and Modernize the Job Market in the Philippines

Jobstreet by SEEK, one of the country’s leading online job platforms, has entered into strategic agreements with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) Jobs Cluster to enhance career readiness programs and accelerate the digital transformation of the Philippine job market.

The partnerships were formalized through Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) signings, marking the start of joint efforts to expand job access, equip students with essential career skills, and address employment challenges nationwide.

Empowering Students Through Career Readiness Initiatives

Under its collaboration with DepEd, Jobstreet by SEEK will roll out an expanded Career Readiness Caravan, a series of workshops and career-building activities designed to help Senior High School students and Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners prepare for the workforce.

The initiative will offer practical career advice, industry insights, and skills training to help students navigate job opportunities with confidence. Additional Youth Formation Initiatives will also be implemented to support holistic student development in values, knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Driving Employment Through Digital Job Matching

Jobstreet by SEEK’s partnership with the PSAC Jobs Cluster will focus on leveraging technology to improve job access. This includes digitizing career convention processes, streamlining job fair marketing, and connecting more talent with employers through Jobstreet’s platform.

Ongoing discussions with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) could further expand these efforts by integrating training modules, labor market information, and the seekPASS mobile app—allowing job seekers to manage and share their credentials easily. If finalized, Jobstreet by SEEK will also participate in the Philippine National Skills Competition 2025 and the WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025.

Earlier in 2025, Jobstreet by SEEK also announced partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) to promote job growth, particularly in the retail sector.

Commitment to a Future-Ready Workforce

Through these multi-sectoral collaborations, Jobstreet by SEEK aims to provide long-term solutions to unemployment and underemployment by making job opportunities more accessible, improving workforce skills, and modernizing the job search process in the Philippines.
