Five flagship brands from Universal Robina Corporation (URC) continue to dominate Filipino households, earning top spots in the 2025 Brand Footprint Report by global consulting firm Worldpanel by Numerator. Consistent Favorites Across Food and Beverage Sectors
The Brand Footprint Report annually ranks FMCG brands based on consumer reach points (CRP)—a metric combining how many households buy a brand and how often they purchase it. The results reflect both brand penetration and frequency, showing which products truly resonate with consumers at the point of purchase.
- Great Taste Coffee – 367 million CRP, top 10 most chosen FMCG brands in the Philippines, and fourth in the beverage sector.
- C2 Cool & Clean – 33 million CRP, a top beverage brand.
- Piattos – 180 million CRP, seventh in the food sector rankings.
- Nissin Noodles – 101 million CRP, among top food sector brands.
- Payless Noodles – 73 million CRP, also a top food sector choice.
Economic Recovery Boosts Consumer Spending
The report noted that consumer spending on FMCG products in the Philippines rose by 6% in 2024 due to economic recovery. Marie-Anne Lezoraine, Managing Director for Worldpanel by Numerator in the Philippines, said, “With more time spent out and about and easing inflation, Filipinos shop more often. This creates more opportunities for brands to be purchased.”
URC Chief Marketing Officer Karen Ong added, “The results show that our brands continue to earn the trust and loyalty of Filipino consumers. We’re proud that our products remain staples in homes across the country.”
