Nowadays, homemakers are becoming even more discerning in what they serve the family. There is a constant effort to trim down on unhealthy food and shift to meal plans that best address their dietary needs.
However, faced with staples like rice and food selections doused in rich flavors and high-concentration of sugar, salt, and other additives, concerned parents are left to identify less βsinfulβ options.
Sugar Blend is an authentic alternative to sugar that lets the family indulge in everyday sweetness with less the calories. With a balanced mix of sugar and sucralose, Sugar Blend enhances food and beverages with the same sugar sweetness, but using only half the amount. Using Sugar Blend in home-cooked dishes can help manage sugar intake among children, without sacrificing the energy they need for the day or the taste that keeps them on the table.
Now, parents can serve treats made using Sugar Blend and worry less about indulging their kids. Pancakes and muffins can retain their freshness and premium taste and still be healthy. Homemade ginataan, halo-halo, and polvoron can be shared generously without the guilt feeling. Jellies, marmalade, and spreads can all be prepared at home for the week ahead.
Helping children attain their fullest potential is perhaps among the greatest challenges to parents, and using Sugar Blend in their food is one of the best ways to ensure they are on the right track.
Sugar Blend, prepared by the makers of Equal, is available in all Mercury drugstores and leading supermarkets nationwide.
good that we have a product like this in the market today. but if you really want organic and healthy sugar alternative, try fresh stevia. its very easy to grow π
I think this is the second time I’ve read about this but I haven’t seen this yet in the supermarket.
Coming from a family with a history of diabetes, I think this is something we need in our pantry! I just haven’t seen it in the grocery though?
This is new and haven’t seen it yet. I’m using muscovado at home for everything. π
I think this one is really nice to have in our kitchen specially now that mostly people are prone in diabetes because of our lifestyle and eating habits
Oh! Wow! I’m sure many moms with “sweet tooth” will love this new product especially moms who are all for heathier options in their meal.
Will try this one, since we are trying to limit the sugar intake of little kulit
I think my father-in-law would love this! Will introduce this product to them!
I’ll definitely give this a try since my hubby is so addicted to sugar! Haha. Good to know there are alternatives like this. Hopefully, di naman ganon ka-pricey π
This brand is quite good ive tried it before na when im into sugar free/ or low sugar diet. But what we are using right now are organic coco sugar.. Its organic and locally made..
I love this part of technology and progress wherein they get to introduce innovations and products that are good for us. Ive attended a talk about wellness to the ultimate level and learned that sweets shouldnt be introduced to kids 3 years and below. That way their taste buds arent altered. Sweets can be real comforting yet it has effects that may lead to something we later on regret. Its good there are brands like this to help us live life comfortable and not too “pinagdadamutan.” Ehehe.
That’s a great way to put it Berlin!
I saw this in the supermarket the other day but I still had a fresh supply of coco sugar. I’ll surely check it out next time!
It’s good that people have options like this now. Keeping an eye on what we eat but still can eat what we love! Hope to try this product also.
Im guilty of always eating sweets! Its good to know that there are other options for sugar where sweetness has less calories. This is also applicable for our kids so we can let them eat sweets once in a while.
Sounds like a good product. My hubby’s family has a history of diabetes and so we try to limit our intake of sugar products. Will definitely give this a try.
since i discovered that i had gestational diabetes when I was still pregnant with Chai and now that I’ve given birth, I make sure I eat, drink and take foods that are low on sugar. Better safe than sorry.
I need this! Our sugar intake is severely higher than what is recommended. I hope it goes well with coffee!
Nice to know they have products like these na. It’s good practice to be mindful na of what we eat/what we give our kids at an early age palang π
ah I’ll study this more as my kids are into sweets. I might try this for them.
I will make sure to find 1 the next time we do the grocery! Atleast I know that kids will have a healthier sweets! π
I haven’t seen this in the supermarket yet.
I always feel guilty about pastries. I should try this when I do try baking para less guilt and all the yumminess! π
This is a vood alternative for kids. My boys are really fond of sweets and I get to really limit it so as not to feed their body with so much sweets at a young age. It ia good to know that we can use products like this with less guilt and not to be deprived with sweets….applicable not just for kids but for adults like me too.
I love sweets and might need to cut down sweets intake again. This is my first time to heard about this product, haven’t seen in groceries too. Hopefully di pricey π
