image1Brotzeit, a popular Singaporean brand which serves authentic Bavarian cuisine in Asia, has launched their kiddie cooking lesson program Kinder Koche (little chef in German) to bring fun and excitement for kids and their moms and dads as they learn new cooking and baking skills inside Brotzeit’s kitchen.

This April and May weekends, Brotzeit’s Culinary Director, Chef Ivan Maminta, will be teaching the kids how to make Schokokuchen (Chocolate cake), on April 25, Fladen (Pizza) on May 16, and finally, Apfelstrudel (Apple Strudel), on May 23.

kinderclassEach course costs P1,500 and includes an apron for the parent/guardian, a shirt for the child, basic kitchen tools, recipe sheets and a Certificate of Completion. That is awesome! We love pretzels – my son especially – and I’ve been wanting to learn how to make these treats myself!

I think cooking classes for kids are awesome. My daughter had a cooking bday party when she was 8, and they all got to cook their own meals and bake their cupcakes. They loved it!

I’d love if they had something like that here – I’d take my nephew. They picked some really good food to make with the kiddies.
