Our recently held Mommy Bloggers Philippines “A Christmas to Remember” was definitely one for the books. From the venue to the giveaways to the food, it was an enjoyable afternoon specially prepared for the beautiful mommies of MBP.
Our sponsor venue for this event was The Linden Suites with lunch catered by Mesclun Restaurant and Café. Mesclun (mes-klən) is old Occitane for “mixture” and also refers to mixed greens. The in-house restaurant offers world-class international cuisine, continental classics and local favorites making it ideal for business breakfasts, lunch meetings, work dinners and family gatherings.
Our menu for the party included a delicious buffet of Chicken Macaroni Soup, Seafood in Coconut Sauce, Slow Roasted Rosemary Chicken, Beef Pot Roast, Waldorf Macaroni Salad, Fresh Fruits and Chocolate Caramel Cake. We were also served unlimited coffee and juice.

Chef Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara has created signature dishes for Mesclun Restaurant and Café. Her influences include formal culinary training from the premier Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and she has professional experience in several restaurants in France.
Apart from Mesclun, she applies her wide array of expertise to other food ventures in Manila, namely, Chuck’s Deli — an American-style super-sandwich and burger shop boasting of homemade breads and cold cuts; and Paulene Chocolat Suisses — a premium line of made-to-order chocolate confections.
The hotel offers a hearty buffet breakfast; all day dining and room service, and function spaces that can accommodate small and medium size groups for business meetings and social events.

I’ve never been to Linden Suites, but judging from the photos from bloggers, I think I want to check it out!
This is a great idea for a venue for my future business opportunity meetings, especially for bigger crowds.
