How Moms Benefit A LOT From Breastfeeding

Posted on by

It’s not the babies alone who are being loved when they are being breastfed. Health experts attest that mothers who breastfeed equally benefit not only in terms of deepening their emotional bond with the baby but in terms of physical benefits too.

Recently, a work at home mom, Bituin Aquino, wrote an article below, as of the attached clipping, why we should encourage mothers to lactate and feed their babies directly through their breast. And although breastfeeding can be a challenge for some moms, there are available “helpers” in the market, such as Chicco’s Natural Feeling manual breast pumps. Aside from stimulating milk production and increasing milk supply of the mother, breast pumps are used to feed premature babies or those who can’t latch on properly to their mother’s breast, and to relieve the pain and pressure of milk build up.

Chicco’s line of Natural Feeling is available at all major department stores nationwide or at www.Richprime.net

I lacked information about breastfeeding when I had my 2 kids. I wish noon pa ko naging knowledgeable about breastfeeding. Kung magkakaron ng third baby, I’ll make sure na mamaximize ko ang gatas ko.

I’ve known Chicco when I was looking for my breastfeeding paraphernalia eg breast pump though I opted for a cheaper alternative. Every now and then, I still visit their rack. My son’s eating utensils are from Chicco and we are using it for years. Great quality indeed.

I agree! Not only does the baby benefit from it, I learned from a lactation specialist that breastfeeding reduces the risk of hypertension, cancer, diabetes and other illnesses.

Breastfeeding is really good for babies and is beneficial to mommies as well. I breastfed my son until he’s 27 months old. He’s a very active and healthy kid. It’s good to know a company who supports the advocacy of breastfeeding. Nothing beats breastmilk.

I really tried to breastfeed for as long as I could, but my younger daughter sadly just said no. I wish she were more willing, more now after reading this post!

Huhu! I stopped breastfeeding my 18-months old son because I was experiencing contractions. I had to protect the 2nd baby so I had no choice but to forcibly wean him a week ago lang. Sobrang sakit. But if there were no contractions and complications, I would continue breastfeeding him and I eventually plan to tandem feed pa nga sana when the second baby’s out. Say YES to breastfeeding!!! <3

Breastfeeding mom here for almost 6 month now (pure). It’s a mother and baby teamwork and thanks to my daughter, I don’t think I could breastfeed this long if she’s not sucking great. She’s really a very good girl!
