Most of us have our own favorite blouse, dress or even pants to wear. For our kids, we prefer some of their little dresses and shirts more than the others. It may be because of the color, the style, the fit and most specially, the comfort. But no matter how much we prefer these clothes, they have a life-span, and the more we use them, the more they age and lose life.
Now, there’s something that will allow us to love, wear, and wash our favorite clothes and continue doing so for a much longer time. The new Comfort Care Detergent promises to keep our clothes new for longer. With a unique and innovative formulation, the new Comfort Care Detergent addresses the five signs of clothes aging.
5 Signs of Clothes Aging
- Color fading
- Roughness
- Shape Loss
- Bobbling (pilling or himulmol)
- Yellowness
At Comfort’s media launch, Unilever created The Comfort Care Lounge where fashion icons, designers and celebrities gathered to see how Comfort Care Detergent can be a powerful ally in keeping their precious clothes #NewForLonger. There were five studios to represent each of the five signs of clothese aging that served as IG-worthy content hubs and housed their respective demos. Attendees were even able to magnify different fabric swatches to prove Comfort’s efficacy through Fabric Analyzers.
What’s different with Comfort from other detergents and fabric conditioners?
The Comfort range is powered by two of the most superior technologies ever seen in the category.
- Advanced Anti-Aging Technology in Comfort Fabric Solution products (fabric cleaning) prevents clothes from aging by caring for every fiber, prevents pilling/bobbling (himulmol) and prevents ash residue from getting into the fabric ( these particles affect the vibrancy or color of our clothes)
- Advanced Triple Care Technology in Comfort Fabric Sensation products (fabric conditioning) enhances the beauty of clothes, protecting them from color fading, fiber pilling and shape loss.
Unlike most brands of detergents and fabric conditioners that focus only in cleaning, Comfort gives more by keeping our clothes’ colors vibrant and in-shape. It’s not a surprise that Comfort is starting to be the favorite of fashion designers and stylists who see clothes as investments. Rajo Laurel, iconic fashion designer in the Philippines, mentioned how good Comfort is in his pina clothes. Daryl Cheng said that Comfort helps her save a lot in buying new clothes as her favorite ones still look vibrant and colorful. Apples Aberin mentioned that she use Comfort products even on her towels and bed sheets at home.
For us moms, Comfort can be a powerful ally for us in maintaining our children and our clothes in tip-top condition, allowing us to enjoy our favorite clothes much longer, and saving us money as we don’t have to buy new clothes in every special occassion. Of course, we like our clothes clean and spotless but with Comfort, we even get more – clothes that are comfortable to wear and looking new for a longer time.
Comfort is now available in all leading supermarkets nationwide and online through Lazada and Shopee.

From these photos I can tell that the washing powder looks promising.
Unfortunately washing powders are usually only available in neighboring countries.
I like how the placed the models next to each other and we could see the effect of the wash. It was kinda funny too.
