Admit it or not, our lives as parents had been made easier by technology. Washing machines, vacuum cleaners and even the simplest electronic pencil sharpener can be considered made in heaven when we need that extra time to spare for ourselves and our families. Time is of most necessity that’s why we are taking advantage of these innovations.
Online technology gives us another wonderful capacity by allowing us to book our favorite restaurants by using our Twitter and Facebook accounts. During weekends, when we just want to spend the day relaxing and enjoying food with each member of the families, we can easily reserve our seats and free us from all the hassle of waiting in line.
With around 15 million people registered on Twitter and 30 million using
Facebook in the Philippines alone, “it’s vital that Restaurateurs and Hoteliers
have a strong online presence in today’s market”, according to Dennis Ng,
ResDiary Philippines president.
Dennis added: “Social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook hold a
large influence over people’s decision-making process, especially when it
comes to booking their next hot spot to eat in. Now, booking a table for dinner
just got easier, with this new product allowing people to make reservations via
both Twitter and Facebook.”
Adding: “Social media platforms are a great way to engage with existing and
potential guests and increase online exposure, promoting new menus and offers
and advertise events. As well as taking bookings, managers can reach out to
followers by running specific ‘Twitter Only’ promotions via ResDiary – a very
quick and effective way to increase a restaurant’s online exposure, taking more
reservations and increasing profits.”
This platform brings another key feature to the extensive ResDiary reservation
management offering which includes a Customer Relationship Management
(CRM) system, validated customer feedback options and detailed business
reporting to allow better operational control for restaurant managers.
Niu By Vikings has been enjoying this feature since January 2015. They have
embraced technology into their operation and also taking advantage of
ResDiary Facebook booking widget to their 51,000 fans.
This is nice. Worth sharing 🙂 I would love to try this one of these days. Thanks
This app is definitely useful for those of us who are already online most of the day. Thanks for posting.
Nice! So convenient!
This is very nice. And it would definitely cut the “hanap hanap ng restaurant pag may time”. Usually, we’d spend 1hour in average just checking out the restaurant on the area we’re in. With this, we could plan ahead and make sure we have seats pagdating. And you are right. Technology made our lives so much easier as a mum.
It’s amazing where technology is taking us nowadays. Everything is so much easier, including choosing where to eat. 🙂
