Why Use Stainless Ware

Posted on by

When it comes to lunch kits we let our kids bring to school, plastic isn’t the only way to go. Stainless ware has been a more eco-friendly and health friendly alternative to plastic. Here are more reasons why you should consider using stainless storage containers and lunch kits for your children:

Earth Friendly

Stainless steel is 100% recyclable. It has no toxins, BPA or lead.

  • Glass is heavy and breakable while plastics may leak chemical compounds. Stainless ware is a superior alternative choice.
  • Food grade stainless steel means quality, durability and temperature resistant unlike plastic which releases toxins when touched by heated food.
  • Stainless ware is easier to clean and thus, more hygienic.
  • Stainless is non-reactive. It does not change the flavour of the food thus keeping the food fresh.

A Convenient Choice

It’s lightweight, making it easier to pack meals and snacks.

A Cost Effective Choice

Stainless is durable and will last virtually a lifetime.

I love stainless steel! I have a collection of stainless steel bottles at home. It is a great alternative to glass which breaks easily.

We just recently switched to stainless din for my one-year old. Pag plastic kasi may chemicals, pag glass naman breaks easily. Stainless seemed to be the best option 🙂

I still use the traditional ‘baon’ and lunch box for my daughter. Pang adult kc mga design ng stainless. Chaka page malaki na siya pwede ns niya idispose hung lumang baunan niya pag ayaw na niya ng Barbie. 🙂

I love stainless steel as well and been using it for my girls. Ayoko kasi ng plastic and mas mahirap linisin.

Stainless for baunan… I remember that my mom made us use these stacks of stainless baunans… And if my daughter is gonna need her lunch I’d much prefer to put in the rice in those types of containers, cause I have an idea that they’ll be easier to clean than the plastic ones hahaha

These stainless food wares are safer to use, more hygienic and easier to clean compared to those made of plastic.

I’ll definitely take note of this since my baby girl will start her daycare this year. 🙂

When I was a child, stainless was the way to go, then suddenly, everyone’s using plastic. It’s good they’re bringing this back.
