Primomo Non-Toxic Washable Crayons

Posted on by

As parents, we will do everything we can to ensure safety on everything we give to our kids, so much so when we still have toddlers. But we don’t want our defensiveness to hamper our child’s ability to learn especially on their young age. It’s the stage when we want them to be able to explore, to feel and grasp objects.

Primomo washable crayons are non-toxic and can easily be washed with soap and water. Unlike the usual crayon brands that we find in art sections, Primomo crayons were created with the small children in their minds, the budding artists, our little explorers.

primomoThese crayons were not only made safe but they were also made available in unique shapes and can easily be held by little hands. The makers of these crayons also used fragrances approved for use in food, making the crayons appealing to the toddlers’ sense of smell. An eraser is provided along with the crayons so that your child can learn how to clean up their mistakes and play with more colors on their paper.

Primomo crayons are made in Japan, passed inspection under Japan Toy Safety Standards. It also meets ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and EN 71 (European standard EN 71)  toy safety standards.

One of the mommy blogger members of Mommy Bloggers Philippines wrote a review about the crayons and this is what she says:

Snap 2015-08-23 at 20.21.11“The product looks really safe to use and non-toxic. I also liked the texture of the crayon itself, and you won’t feel sticky after using it. Some crayons would have residue on your hands or paper after you use them.”

Check Mommy Em Alcantara of Touring Kitty’s review here.

Primomo Washable Crayons are distributed in the Philippines by Sapphirerich Enterprise. Currently, these crayons are available in the following outlets:

  • Fully Booked (Trinoma, Greenbelt5, Powerplant Rockwell, Bonifacio

I would love to try Primomo Crayons because my 1 yr old and 5 yr old son both love to “doodle” around our room! They enjoy exploring and creating things and I think this will be the best crayons for them both (:

My son loves drawing and coloring on paper, notebooks, tiles, walls and eveywhere else!

He often has residue on his hands, I’d like to have the Primomo crayons so that he can also have an adventurous way of coloring without having to draw everywhere since the crayons itself are a great way to play. The eraser is a plus too, Calel often gets frustrated when he makes a mistake with his drawings.

The usual crayons that can be easily bought at any bookstores are not assured of its safety. Like it toxicity level when ingested. My son always put his fingers on his mouth. And they have an art subject that requires much coloring. This is new for us. I love to have this for my son. So that I will not keep an eye on him anymore when doing his art homeworks for he might put crayons on his mouth.

My sons name Jacq Vhardo San Jose his age 10.

My daughter Cara, now 1 year-old, has had a year of fine motor practice with a lot of Montessori-inspired activities and materials. I’d love to try these Primomo non-toxic crayons so that she can have another safe and fun way to practice fine motor skills and explore art. I like how the crayons are shaped as I’d think they’d be easier for a younger child to hold.

As early as now, he want to try to hold everything he sees as if he knows how to use it. Sometimes im so scared because he can grab some ballpens or crayons maybe he might get dirty or worse, he might hurt himself. But i wanted him to hone his development. I want him to practice independence more. Thank you.

My 6 yo daughter turns our walls into her canvass. I don’t mind it because I know I can clean it afterwards. But it’s the cleaning that taking its toll on me. I use a toothbrush or a scrubbing pad to remove the scribbles. I need crayons that she could use to draw anywhere but at the same time would be easier for me to wipe off or remove. I hope this is the one I’ve been looking for. Thanks!

Nice!(: My 5 year old son (MigMig) and 1 year old boy (Miro) both enjoy “doodling” around our room. They love to explore and create new things. I believe Primomo will be their new bestfriend at their early age. The shape is unique which will be something new for them, which I believe will help them to create more drawings.(:

My daughter loves to draw and she’s good at it. She would install drawing and coloring apps on her tablet just to enjoy every bit of her discovered talent.
My son colors every book he holds. His school textbooks, even if there’s no instructions to color, he still colors it. For every item he colors, he doesn’t stick to one shade, he uses several shades even if it’s just an egg. LOL.
This kid-friendly Primomo washable crayons will surely make the parents “alinlangan-feel” go away.

My partner is a fine arts graduate so he allows our little girl to use his different coloring materials which I don’t really agree because of its components. I’m a SAHM but sometimes I leave my daughter coloring and/or drawing unsupervised because I need to do some chores and attend to her younger sibling. She knows that she shouldn’t put any crayons in her mouth but sometimes it leaves residues in her hands which could be harmful if she forgot to wash her hands before eating. Because of that I seldom allow her to color and draw which I know might be hindering her development. We would like to try Primomo crayons so she can do some fun art activities while I’m doing something else without the fear that my child could swallow any toxic substances 🙂
