Galileo Enrichment Learning Program And Power Mac Center Launch Of Digital Summer Camp

Posted on by

Summer is near and parents are excited to know the best ways for their kids to spend their time while having a break from schooling. For sure, most of us are worried that they will burn their hours in front of the computer or their tablets, but at the same time, we don’t want to take out all the fun in them from playing with digital media. Good news to us parents since Galileo Enrichment Learning Program,  an after-school enrichment program, partnered with Power Mac Center, to bring a worthwhile summer for our kids when they can still have fun with their gadgets while learning new and exciting digital skills using Mac desktop and Ipads.

Mommy Bloggers Philippines had been fortunate to try some of the subjects of that the students will be learning in the digital summer camp. We’ve tried out making some simple Stop Motion Videos using iPad, programmed some games in their Game Creation segment, and had fun making Sphero move via code programming. We could imagine the kids brainstorming and getting fully creative when they attend these programs. Teachers of the programs will all be certified by Power Mac Center.

In the digital summer camp, the kids will be learning 5 different types of programming courses and each course will be 2-hours long.  These courses will be open for 9-14 years old and Non-Galileo students will be accepted. 10-12 students will be accommodated per group. See the posters below for the schedules and program modules.
